12 ounce bottle. English Pint. Amber with a thin tan head. Light malty nose. Taste - malt, caramel and some bitterness. A bit thin.

Bronze with thick foamy head. Some barley and malt in the aroma, spicy hops that can be rather skunky in some bottles. Decent, mildly malty lager flavor, fairly clean, and a bit dry. Light to moderate on the palate.

Bottle. Pours a pretty honey orange with virtually no head. Sweet aroma of pear, honey, toffee, caramel. Flavor bright with red apple, but sweet with caramel. Just a bit of bitterness on the back end, like apple skin. Body is nice and solid, verging on porter territory. Finishes clean with a little bit of that apple skin. I really, really like this, and I’m really surprised by the reaction here to it. Super affordable and good.

Aroma is a mild malt scent. Color is a deep gold with good carbonation and a thin yet fairly tight head. Taste comes on a light/medium body with a mild sweet malt flavor and a strong bitter end. Overall its ok.

From a 12oz Bottle. Pours a filtered transparent, beechwood color with a thick finger of quickly dissipating, white fizzy foam. Aromas of nutty malt and floral hops, with the hops actually coming across a bit heavy for my tastes. Restrained honey and baked bread crusts. Medium light bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel. Very clean and refreshingly drinkable. A satisfying Munich malt sweetness up front on the palate, but the herbal hops overwhelm it a bit too early. Honey glazed breakfast roll. Tastes pretty good, but I’m just not able to get enough of the rich maltiness that I’d like.

Not at all what I was expecting. Poured golden like a light lager with an off white head that was thin and unapealing. The first taste was bitter and unbalanced. Just a hint of hops and no spice at all. I bought the 6 pack and tried 3 of them before giving up and throwing out the rest.

12oz bottle from trader joes.. holds a very unappealing light amber color with little head. the smell is slightly grainy but mostly synthetic.. the initial hit to the palate is that of malty low level lager and not much else.. too much carbination not enough bitterness at the end.. so-so at best

I am surprised by how low the rating is for this beer, it’s very tasty - for a lager. It’s sweet and malty with just a hint of bitterness. bottle from trader joe’s, mountain view ca
