Very sessionable, which is how a beer of this style should be.
Not a bad Oktoberfestbier considering the price. Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is malt and grain, with a bit of cardboard. Flavor is moderately sweet, a bit grainy, bit of apple and caramel, with a drier finish. Pretty good on the whole, but there are some off flavors and trouble holding everything together that keeps it from being great. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Bottle: Amber hued golden, quite clear, large fluffy white head, fairly decent lacing, very light carbonation.   Certainly looks inviting.   Soft grainy aroma, slight cardboard and musty sock as well.   Pale malt, slight apple skin on the tongue, but moreso some cardboard and mild graininess.   Clean, but not that exciting.   A little light on the body and mouthfeel, but passable.   Husky finish... maybe I take that back about it being clean.   Needs to be a bit fuller in body, more malt character, and less graininess.   The wet sock I could also do without.   Meh...

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2007 Bottle. Nice, malty o’fest aroma. Slightly hazy dark gold. Slightly off-white head. Some lace . Head is mostly eroding. Not bad. Dry; made to style. Basic o’fest. Panzuriel (993), Westerville, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 15, 2007 fizzy light copper liquid with a persistent head of small cream bubbles. Nose is thin and a little malty, sharp and maybe somewhat metallic. Very thin lagerish type taste. not much malts or real hops. sorta adjuncty. body is thin but not too thin. decent beer. not really an oktoberfest in my opinion. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 26, 2006 12 oz bottle. Not really exciting. Really tasted more like a decent pale lager instead of an oktoberfest. Classic oktoberfest maltiness seemed to be missing and was replaced with lager twang. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2006 Pours an amber honey color w/ a medium sized, spattered, semi creamy froth that is short lived. Not mush of an aroma here, just some tart malts. Medium nectar w/ mellow residual effers creating a creamy texture. A thin malt brew w/ very little flavor. Not much going on here at all. Theres a slight tart GANKY skunk feces thing going on in the finish. I’m imbarrased.
