12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - Pours a clear amber color with a one and a half finger off white head. Lively carbonation. Light spotty lacing. Has a light toasted malt and herbal hop aroma. Has a toasty malt flavor. Light, dry palate. Medium body. Wortha try. Thanks Richard.

12-13-06 Bottle from Trader Joe’s, poured a clear medium gold with a some red, nice looking brew, aroma of fresh baked bread, malt, little bit of hops, malty taste, somewhat more like a Dortmunder then the Octoberfest beers I have had, medium dry on the palate, I was expecting more on the palate with the deep gold color but the taste was not up to what met the eye.- Old Rating 6-4-4-3-11=2.8. . . . 10-22-07 - Someone gave this to me, so, thought I would rate this bottle against last year’s to give it a change of rating if warranted, gosh, this is worst then I remember, some off smell and it has an off taste to, pours a clear gold bronge with some amber here and there, white and off-white bubbles, looks nice in the glass, toasted and roasted malt, malt sweetness, faint caramel and a alcohol-vegetable-medicine off smell, it is not prominent but still there, there is a taste of malt and malt sweetness with a hop bite but also an alcohol off taste? A faint taste of something that is unpleasant, medium mouth feel, glad I didn’t get a six pak, pass this one by.

Bottle from Trader Joe - poured orange-amber with but a thin yeasty head. Light malty essence with a bit of a caramel twist. Bready and tart. OK.

12oz bottle. Mixed six from TJ’s. Filtered and golden amber. White ring of head. Musty bready malt nose. Slight corn aroma. Adjucted? Light to medium bodied. Bready malty caramel flavor. Somewhat mild finish. Meh.

Bottle. Available at Trader Joe’s for ninety-two cents. Clear amber body. Vanishing tan head. Nose is malt, caramel, and light spicy hops. Some fruit notes as well. Taste is spicy hops, sweet malts, light caramel and a touch of toffee. Body is light-medium. Creamy carbonation. Finishes with more spicy notes, caramel and mild maltiness.

Bottle from Trader Joes. Golden color with a white head. A hay malt and honey caramel aroma. A mild spiced wet malt flavors with a touch of candy and hops on a bread base.

Bottle... Mostly clear golden ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toffee and honey. Sticky-sweet flavor with orange blossom honey and just the right amount of peppery German hops to almost strike a balance. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. IrishBoy provided the bottle!

12oz bottle Trader Joe’s Naperville- A light amber body with a head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of malt, caramel, and slight hops. Taste of malt, caramel, fruit, and hops on the back end. Not a bad beer.
