Wow, this has a lot of butter in the flavor, not tasty. Thin quick-disappearing head, not good. Their draft sommer brau at the brewery is much better than this bottled version.

Bottle. Pours a clear light golden with a super thin bubbly off-white head with rings of lacing. Aroma is slightly grassy, with a light sweet malty note. Flavor is light, a bit grassy, faint hint of lemon, mild malty note. Actively carbonated, light and thin.

Bottle. Refreshing beer not too much in sense of taste , not bitter at all a little too sweet.

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joe’s Glen Allen/Short Pump, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy with strong grassy hop notes. Taste is grain, grassy hops and light banana notes. Strong carbonation, medium bodied. Not bad for a buck.

Bottle. Golden beer with an off-white head. Honey-malt aroma with light grass. Malt flavor with light sweetness, light grass, and light mineral notes. Medium bodied. Refreshing. Sweet malt lingers with a light mineral note.

Appearance: Pours a bright, clear yellow gold. Starts with a 1/4 inch of white foam, that later subsides to a pinstripe of white. A very modest amount of carbonation is visable in the body. Aroma: Honey and corn sweetness, a little bit of fruit bouquet. Taste: Bready malt, fruit sweetness (melon, apples, pears). Finishes with some nice crisp hoppiness. Mouthfeel: Crisp, refreshing. Overall: Quite a nice Kolsch-style beer. Lots of flavor, which I didn’t imagine finding, based upon the goal of this beer.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a frothy white head that left a good amount of lacing. Aroma of yeast, bread and grain. A bit of buttery and grass. Flavor was pretty much forgettable, but it wasn’t overtly bad. It just wasn’t great. A bit of butteriness and some grassy hops. Typical Gordon Biersch brew.

12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is grassy hops, bready, slight yeast with a hint of citrus. The flavor is overall pretty light; grassy, bready malt, dry, slightly fruity mid palate, general bitter in the finish. Light bodied and refreshing for what it is.
