On tap @ Brewpub. Somewhat hazy hefe. Some citrus, banana. clove. Typical hefe stuff. Nothing real special

OC tour, tap at brewpub: Cloudy golden hue with a creamy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of banana, clove, lemongrass, wheat and some butter phenols. The taste is fruity and spicy with a wheat and biscuit background. Smooth and lush mouth feel is nicely bodied for the style. A solid brew.

Some clovey banana notes on the nose. Beer is a vibrant yellow color. Came with a gigantic lemon in the glass which was disappointing. The flavor was not too strong, but there was some bannana and clove esters. Relatively light bodied and very carbonted.

Had this in the sampler tray on the patio in September. It was the last beer I tried in the tray, and had warmed up by that time. Cloudy yellow in colour. Has a slice of lemon on top which I was not that fond of.

Opaque yellowy orange appearance. Empahsised banana aroma, yeasty spice. Sweet thickish banana flavor with light pepper and grain adding balance. Tastey but banana seems a little thickish and overdone.

Getting past the lemon smell from the whole peice of fruit in the glass, i found another Schmid beer i had to stomach down. Wispy head. Watered down orange taste.

Cloudly yellow with banana aroma. This had a crips wheat bite with more bananas and bubble gum. Light astringent and faint lemon taste. Light watery mouthfeel.

Not a good wheat AT ALL. Very dry and bland. The lemon was not helping at all. Typical cloudy appearance and no head, at least I didn't see any head under the giant lemon slice floating on top.
