On tap. Pours a hazy and opaque yellow with a small white head. Discreet fruity nose. Medium body with surprisingly authentic notes of banana, yeast an phenols. The finish is dry. Good one. 050709

On tap at the JT Schmids Brew Pub located in Anaheim, CA. Poured a light and hazy yellow color with a small sized white head. They served this one with a lemon slice which really took over all the aromas and tastes. Very lemony, especially the aromas -lemon pledge-. I had to dig deep to get around that lemon slice. I wish they would have asked first!

OC tour, tap at brewpub: Cloudy golden hue with a creamy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of banana, clove, lemongrass, wheat and some butter phenols. The taste is fruity and spicy with a wheat and biscuit background. Smooth and lush mouth feel is nicely bodied for the style. A solid brew.

Tap @ the brewpub. Poured a fairly hazy light yellow color with a white head. Wheaty citrus notes with a light spice. Yeasty with a touch of banana on the tail. The flavor had banana to start and mixes with citrus in the middle then banana to the finish. Light body. Refreshing citrus finish.

Cloudly yellow with banana aroma. This had a crips wheat bite with more bananas and bubble gum. Light astringent and faint lemon taste. Light watery mouthfeel.

The first thing I noticed was the slice of lemon (actually a full slice, not that half-slice on the rim of the glass business), which is usually the kiss of death to a beer for me. Anyway this beer was the requisite hazy light orange color with a thin off-white head. Citrusy aroma. The flavor was a watery-fruit concoction that was refreshing albeit rather bland. Eh.
