On tap @ Brewpub. Opaque with light khaki head. Nice roastiness, chocolate flavor. Similar taste to STier Oat without alcohol presence. Needs some more body; a little too thin but tasty. Best offering at this brewpub.

OC tour, tap at brewpub: Near opaque with a sticky frothy lace. The aroma has notes of coffee and charred malt, prune and fig, aromatic pipe tobacco, and some leathery vapour. The taste has a nice malty versus bitterness balance with ripe fruit and smoke found as well. The mouth feel is medium-bodied and a tad oily. A smoked beer? A nice stout.

Tried this in Anaheim in September on their patio. Very drak brown and malty. Probably one of the more enjoyable stouts I have every tried.

Opaque reddish brown appearance. Well pronounced dark chocolate and coffee aroma. Smooth palate, heavy coffee roast, charcoally. A dry pastiness in the second half with very heavy citrus in the finish. Heavy malt heavy hops work well together.

Beautiful Dark Beer. My favorite of the bunch. Very smooth finish, very drinkable. Had three in a sitting, but wish had a higher ABV.

Dark pour with roasted malt taste. Still nothing to brag about. Very subtle chocolate tastes and too mellow coffee flavors.
