Pineapple and orange fruit on the palate work well against the intense biting citric grapefruit, alcohol warmth is mildly noticeable. May lack a little in body but an excellent blend of tropical fruits and bitter citrus. yespr (12406), Copenhagen O, Denmark

IN all honesty this one isn’t really as bad as the low score may attest. Amber type color. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit, with some floral to it. I found it pretty full in the body. Pretty bitter and decently tasty; some caramel, fruit, flowers and citrus. Solid for me. Dogbrick (2901), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Amber color with a thin off-white head and some lacing. Nice floral hops aroma. Decent hops bite with a somewhat bitter finish. I bet this would be good off the cask. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2007 OC tour, tap at brewpub: Golden hue with very nice frothy head and lace. The aroma has notes of citrus, grassy and piney hops, bready and biscuity malt, and some clove hop spice. The taste has a nice biting citric and bitter tone with a biscuity and spicy background. The mouth feel is sharp and aggressive with a dry finish. A serviceable brew indeed. swoopjones (1920), Buffalo, New York, USA
