Sep 13, 2009 On tap at brewpub. Color was a golden with not much white head. Aroma of caramel malt, alcohol, with a bit of fruit in there. Not that interesting of an aroma, but quite solid. Flavor was a bit more balanced than expected; some caramel, some fruit, with a solid bitter presence in the finish.

Jul 23, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Sweet cornish, light caramelish and hoppy fruity aroma. Flavour is bitter, light fruity and with a light caramelish malt base.

Jul 20, 2009 On tap. Clear deep golden with a small white head. Intense aroma of clean malts and alcohol. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base. The bitterness in the finish is somewhat unrefined but overall it’s a well crafted example of the style. 050709
