Subdued aroma, citrus and honey. Light hazy amber, minimal head. The flavor has some citrus hops at the front, but more citrus-pulp bitterness at the back. And while the malts do have some vanilla-worty smoothness going on, they have more of a stale biscuit character.

A cloudy honey colored beer. This is a well hopped effort but is much sweeter than expected. The hops provide tartness and bitterness but are over powered by the caramel malt. This might be the sweetest APA I have ever had.

Poured a semi hazey orange colour with a small off white head. Aroma is faint of citrus notes, soft hops and fresh flowers. Taste is mildly acidic, grapefruit, lime and grass. Nice beer overall.

Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy orange amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light citrus and grapefruit zest, some caramel malt, a touch of fruit character and some mild herbal spice. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a good balance of caramel malt and citrus zest hop flavor with a fruity character. Finish has a light bitterness that adds a nice touch to this American Pale Style ale.

On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Hazy orange amber pour has a thin ring of white head. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt with a touch of piny hops. Body starts fairly full and sweet with a decent piny hop balance before a more bitter, yet warming finish. A pretty good APA.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured an opaque golden with a nice white head that hung around for a while. Aroma of sharp, citrusy hops. Tasted of light grapefruit and some fresh cut grass with a very good hop balance - not too bitter. Aftertaste was slightly clean but sweet. Not too bad of a beer.

Transparent and paling brass in color with a creamy, doily white wrung around the edges. Strawberry cotton and passion fruit starch lead the nose while a cascade concrete lightheartedness plays out with a mango danish. Some honey dipped marigolds impart a weird herbaceous sentiment. Balanced and amplified bitterness capitalize in true cascade fashion. Medium to lightered bodied but the clementine and peachy fruitiness make amiable progress. The dried apricot chews also bode well for the flavor. Mandarin cotton sees itself out with the bitter starch brigade, but the hops cover the filtration tracks this time. Dry floral bitterness takes charge in the end while peachy cotton and clementine pulp make good on the other citric notions.
