Sweet toasty dark caramel nose has a good balance of milk chocolate. Roasted nuts, coffee, and chocolate flavors. This is a sweet beer but one that has a nice amount of hop. It has a delightfully smooth feel to it. A very good porter. Aroma is cocoa powder, Count Chocula cereal, melted semi-sweet chocolate chips and some roasted qualities. Creamier than expected. Semi-sweet chocolate settles in with nicely roasted pecans. Pours a dark cola brown brew with a thin tan head that quickly dissipates to a thin tan ring. Aroma of toasted dark malt, some chocolate, roasted nuts and a touch of black pepper. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of toasted dark malt, a touch of chocolate and some coffee and roasted nuts.
