Ughsmash (3978), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA May 17, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy deeper amber with a medium cap of off-white head. Nice spicy grains in the nose.. along with caramel and a little banana/wheaty aspect to it. Flavor was much like the nose.. with caramel toast and fruity malts in there. Medium-bodied. Tasty brew.. nothing exciting, but very much drinkable. hezron (600), Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA May 1, 2006 Yeasty, phenolic with a rotten egg, sulfer like note to it. Definitly a belgian. Cloudy amber with a thin, white head. Flavor is malty, toasted caramel, wheat malt that has a touch of burnt popcorn that remindes me of a dunkelweizen then it has some fruity notes and a touch of grassy hops in the finish. Lighter body, an interesting and light belgian ale with nice malt character
