Feb 5, 2008 Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Billed as "Charlie’s Spiced Ale." Clear, dark red pour with a lacy tan head, clovey and white pepper nose, spicy, sharp mouthfeel, cinnamon and clove and a very strong finish. Very good.

Mar 9, 2003 No head, not much aroma. Fairly good spice aspects, not tongue-numbing. Sticky, artificial palate.

Jan 23, 2003 This winter beer had an absolutely beautiful red color, with a nice lightly spiced aroma. Nice bit of cinnamon over a slightly above average amber ale.
