Jan 15, 2007 Pours a slightly muddy brown, topped by half an inch of light tan foam. Decent head retention, moderate lacing. Mild sweet chocolate in the aroma – but more like a brown ale than an altbier.
More of that sweet chocolate in the flavor, and a touch of raisin. Both of these flavors start strong enough, but finish on the meek side. Low hop presence, not a lot of character added. Just shy of medium bodied, carbonation also on the mild side.

Oct 7, 2004 Black Coloring. Tan Head. Thick on the Tongue. Nice Malt and Roasts Come Out. Hoppy End With some Bitter...Little Dry. Much Better Then the Regular Alt. Good Character.
