Very good IPA, nice malt character and a really nice finish. Love the hops. GABF 2002

I had this on the first or second day the batch was being served at the brewpub, so it was very fresh. Aroma is strongly floral and piney. Pours a murky amber, scant head. Flavor is strongly coniferous and citrusy, becoming sharply bitter on the mid-palate. Amidst it all, some worty vanilla elements manage to peek through. Palate is just plain tongue-peeling, but in a good way; cheeks are tingling for a long while after the glass is empty.

Lightly hazed copper color with a smaller dense cream colored head. Crystal malts and earthy hops. Stronger ale tendencies. Light, near spritzy, biting feel. Malt, hops and strength - A true IPA in my book.

Lasting off-white head, cloudy amber body. Not strong, but good caramelly cascade hops. Pretty good IPA. One of J.T. Whitney’s better beers.

Hazy solid orange in color with a white creamy head. Subtle hop bouquet with some cardboard, standardized pils malt and cedar groves for aroma. Creamy and bitter. I like where this is going. Well balanced and medium bodied. Caramel malts for sweetening and honey suckle rose to contribute in the flavor department. Hops resonate most prolifically in the finish, but it’s a good, all-around tasting. Nothing surprising, but a solid rendition.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured with a very cloudy golden ornage body. The head was very dense with a small bubbled white head. The aroma was oranges and toffee along wit some medicinal notes. The thast had some fairly bitter pine and grapefruit rind. The mouthfeel was thick and creamy. Decent.

Amber color with a bit of head. Little hop aroma. Kind of malty and bitter. It seems to be more "beefy" than most IPAs with a decent malt balance. Pretty tasty.

One of the many pints of beer i had at JT’s while waiting for my computer to get fixed: poured a dull cloudy orange colour with a medium sized off white head. Aroma was ok, firm with hop notes and pine- but hops were sort of funny, not sure what kind they used. Taste was citrusy, chewy and definately nice and hoppy. All around a very citrusy powerful IPA
