Translucent bronze with a creamy tan/grey head. Aroma reveals some peat and hay, a little caramel and hazelnuts. Hits the palate as rich and creamy. Well pronounced hop bitterness. Scaled back malt profile to let hops take center stage. Crisp caramel cask-like qualities. Bittersweet aftertaste. Very enjoyable ESB.

Dark golden color with a small white head. Earthy citric aroma. Flavors much more bitter with little malt. Lacks depth. Thin and boring to me. But as bitters go - OK.

Hazy, dark amber color with a thin head. Sweet hop aroma; odd, but somewhat enticing. Dry and bitter taste with some flowery notes. Not a bad little brew.
