Aug 13, 2007 Bottle bought at TRC Hotel in Launceston Tasmania. Murky golden with a towering white head that collapses into rocky merangue islands. Very yeasty aroma, a little sharp. Yeasty palate, a little spicy, biiter astringent finish. Alcohol is poorly integrated and borders on harsh. Not my favourite belgian strong.

Aug 3, 2007 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour is the same . Yeast, banana, wheat, hop, spices. Nice beer.

Jul 15, 2007 Bottle. Pours a thin yellowy-straw colour with a thinnish white head. Nose is funky sherberty fruit with developed brewing yeast. Mouth is sweet, slightly sour tinges with some fruit and maltiness balanced sweetness. A little fruit there, with alcohol warmness and a slight burning of a hop attack. Finishes sweet and sugar syrupy. Quite nice.

Jul 11, 2007 Bouteille de 330 ml rapportée d’Espagne par mes parents. Arôme: Odeur d’épices et d’agrumes avec une pointe de vinaigre. Apparence: La couleur est orangée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’orange avec une pointe de gingembre. Longue durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement sirupeuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence d’orange et de résineux en arrière goût. (Rating #1136)

Jun 24, 2007 Bottle. Large foamy thick white head that mostly lasted. Clear sparkling body with a yellow / golden color. Aroma of yeast, coriander, caramel, a hint of fruit and citrus. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light alcoholic texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor, hint of acidic. Light sweet finish and somewhat metallic at the very end.

May 30, 2007 Sampled 9/11/06 at T’Kelderke in Brussels. Almost crystal clear golden color with not much sediment left behind, booo. Aroma is slightly floral with some phenols. Taste kind of falls flat, a little sweet and a little dry and not much else. Typical demonic named golden ale.
