Apr 11, 2007 Quite an attractive beer, gold and slightly hazy. Subdued spicy aroma... lead me to believe that this beer may disappoint. However my fears were allayed with the big assertive sweet fruity palate... and pleasant dry finish.

Mar 9, 2007 Very nice belgian strong ale. Extremely spicey with notes of ginger and coriander. The high alcohol content is not apparent.

Mar 8, 2007 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Pale clear golden colour, large and lasting head. Lovely spicy and fruity aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Some sweetness and fruit in the flavour, the high ABV is treacherously well hidden. Well, you get some idea that the beer is stronger than average, but not 8.5% ... Hints of spices. Surprisingly moderate hops. Aftertaste is not impressive. Best served cold.

Mar 5, 2007 Updated: Sep 9, 2008Coloração golden, levemente turva. Floral e frutada. Notas de gengibre. Ótimo creme, denso e persistente. Encorpada. Amargor muito bem dosado, de forma que ele é notado sem ser desagradável. Excelente retrogosto! O álcool é aparente, mas bem inserido no conjunto.
