Canned. Golden colour, big white creamy head. Aroma is fruits, glueish and some yeast. Flavour is fruits, yeast, some sugar and malts. A very pleasantly balanced beer. As it gets warmer also some spices and slight honeyish hints become present.

Bottled. Drank in Belgium. Golden with a very slight chill haze. Very thick white head. Slightly spicy with some mild fruit in the nose. Light effervecence. Some honey mixed with a little acidic bitterness. The back has some sugar and another hit of slight bitterness. A great Belgian strong ale - but doesn’t age well in the bottle. A definite session beer that is much more pleasing than a Duvel or similiar.

Bottled(330ml). -Clear golden, small white head, mild coriander nose. Aroma is grainy, sweet alcoholic and mild spicy with notes of honey and yeast. Notes of fruit and sugar in the finish

(Bottle, 12-10-06) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a moderate egg-white head. Aroma of musty cellar, florals, and caramel. Flavor of malt, spicy yeast, and butter with a dry finish.

Poureda golden colour, with a big thick, firm white head that collapsed at a medium to slow pace, leaving tons of lacing. Almost fizzy at first. The nose is quite nice at first, coriander and malt dominate it. It’s a bit herbal (hops probably), orange peel and some dusty/yeasty hints. The taste starts off grainy, with a pleasant sweetish background, weak hints of hops and some even weaker lemony acidity, noticable metal, weak apple, some oiliness. Didn’t impress me much. Hapkin, by the same brewery is much nicer. Smooth, and kinda pleasant, but the flavour profile just isn’t good enough to keep me interested.

0.33l bottle at home. Clear yellow color with medium head that diminished quickly but didn’t fade away completely. Some spotty lacing. Malty aroma. Taste is sweet in the beginning and citric and spicy in the middle and end. Pleasant long, spicy-sweet aftertaste. Nice ale.

well, this is basically a duvel clone....nice amount of head...lacing-very nice...sweet honey yeast smell...golden...sweet and blimming muddled...good masking...has a back, off not proper bitterness. its rough around the edges.good but not great

Deep yellow coloured beer with an explosive white foam. Nose is dry malty and has a refreshing accents of frech fruits and minty herbs. The taste is on de dry side but has a mild touch of slight bitter fruits. In the finale there is a interesting bitterness of hops and herbs. This is a verry strong tasting blond beer with a long finish.
