Cafe Belge, Canterbury. Sweet and strong with a smack of yeast. Some plastic, but light, pale and tasty without being outstanding. Drinkable and satisfying.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a golden beer with a whitish head. The nose is of pineapple, yeast, oranges, glue and tobacco. The taste is of coriander, yeast and thyme. Some honey and candy too. Strongly bready with hints of tobacco. Apple and dried fruits showing up. Pleasant alcoholic finish with a good dry character. Coriander and melon appearing. This beer somehow doesn’t work out with me. Nice finish though.

Tomada em Madrid, enquanto esperava o Cuca. Se não se compara às grandes belgas, também não faz feio. Aroma intenso de nozes, encorpada e final longo e amargo/doce.

Bottle. Alcohol is too noticeable and I didn’t like the smell too much. I’m not saying this is a bad beer, I just think there are much better in this category.

Orange, nice head. The aroma is malty with notes of fruit and alcohol. The mouthfeel is rather oily and the flavour is sweetish with notes of orange, apricot, alcohol, candy sugar and citrus in the finish. 1709

Golden colour, big foamy white head. Aroma has citrus and yeast. Flavour is fruity and grainy. Medium carbonation, alcohol well noticable. Nice bitterness and dryness.
