Tomada em Madrid, enquanto esperava o Cuca. Se não se compara às grandes belgas, também não faz feio. Aroma intenso de nozes, encorpada e final longo e amargo/doce.

Bottle. Alcohol is too noticeable and I didn’t like the smell too much. I’m not saying this is a bad beer, I just think there are much better in this category.

Orange, nice head. The aroma is malty with notes of fruit and alcohol. The mouthfeel is rather oily and the flavour is sweetish with notes of orange, apricot, alcohol, candy sugar and citrus in the finish. 1709

Honey gold color, with a white head, leaving laces, yeasty, sweet honeyed pale malt nose, with a hint of acidic, wet vegetable, a faint vanilla spiciness, some candi sugar, with a fruity citrusy aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, sweet honeyed pale malt character, with a hint of wet wheat malt, a mild candied lemon peel fruity accent, some candi sugar, with a faint floral hop, leading towards a malty, corny, warmth, dry finish.

Bottle (several). Poured into Duvel glass, nice thick head. Golden color. Sweet nose, doughy caramel aroma. Few other notes, dry aftertaste maybe a bit yeasty. Overall okay beer but there are better alternatives for this style of ale. 10th rating.
