BDR (1862), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Nov 22, 2007 Butterscotch nose with similar flavor. A little roasted malt floating around in there. Dark brown color with faint tan head. BeerandBlues2 (2451), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Feb 2, 2006 Pours opaque with a little tan head and some lined lacing. Aroma is malt (dark roasted, toast), cocoa and molasses, maple with yeast (leather). Dark velvety chocolate and cocoa malt very smooth flavor, low bitterness, low sweetness, no acidity. Dark bodied and thin, smooth, clean palate. One of the most pleasant dry stouts I have had.
