Smelled of citrus and bread. First taste was of citrus and wheat, finished a little sour. Different then other Dunkels i have had, But good. Little thin on the mouthfeel."

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Medium brown, cloudy, creamy off white head, plenty of lacing, nose is banana, citrus and clove, quite an impressive aroma, flavor is slightly more subdued, but still notes of clove and banana and yeast and citrus. Finished clean and not bitter. Quite good. Boutip (2386), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Aroma of banana with hints of cinnamon with sweet strong malt. Taste has notes of banana with some sweet malt but not much bitterness is discernable. Creamy texture is really enjoyable and body is fuller then average. Thanks to Lubière for this sample! Lubiere (4549), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Sweet spicey caramel aroma with prunes in aroma, lightly vinous. In mouth, sweet candy, cloves, bananas, and light maderization. Oily mouthfeel, and lighter bodied. Still quite enjoyable. Bottle is about 1 yr old. Beers of the World, Rochester. Magicdave6 (5554), London, Greater London, England

This continues my trend of loving wheat beer and dunkels. Aroma is typicaly wheat with banana having a good say. Taste is dunkel weize yes yes oh yes, this is a beer i could session for hours and hours but never get bored. However it has to be said this should be drunk cold as it warms the dunkel is lost and wheat is too prominent, never a bad thign to drink it too fast though eh! jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA

Aroma of yeast, spice, banana and general fruitiness. Flavor has notes of wheat, banana, tropical fruits, caramel, clove, light chocolate and a touch of dark fruits. Pleasantly sweet, not much bitterness. Medium to light body, subtle carbonation. Pretty good head retention. I enjoyed this beer and I’m not really a fan of this style. altkencru (143), USA
