| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 26, 2005 Light bronze colour. Slight haze. Slightly sweaty aroma. Sweet, plasticy character. Maybe a little candyish in the finish. Vaguely drinkable, but overly sweet even for a dunkelweisse and doesn’t have any particular dark malt character. jeffin7 (610), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Banana aroma is quite subdued with some rye-like cereal spiciness, bread dough-like yeastiness and a lightly woody character. Some rounded toffee-like caramelization. Hazy rosé-tan with decent off-white head that recedes to cover. Banana flavour and very light spicing with a very rounded toffee-like caramelized flavour. Medium body with fairly low carbonation and a somewhat sweet, unattenuated feeling to it. Bottle sampled with asheft and Pitpit. asheft (1443), Marburg, Germany
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Bronze-brown with a filmy head that dissipated quicky but formed good lacing. Aroma is a blast of banana mixed with sour chocolate, sourdough bread, some plum, and cereal grains. The flavour is surprisingly toasty with pumpernickel and banana and pear notes. Very subtle bitterness yet very sweet. Medium body and medium carbonation. I would like this beer if it were a bit drier and way more carbonated. notalush (2693), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 27, 2005 Cloudy copper with lasting, frothy, off-white head - damp and earth aroma, clove and other spices and a mild tartness - grainy and bready, with just a hint of sweetness - some slight fruitiness and yeastiness - quite subtle but extremely flavorful - dry, somewhat tart finish - well-rounded. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2005 bottle-pours a cloudy dark orange hue with a foamy off-white head. in the direct light, the beer has an orange hue, but in normal lighting, it looks murky brown, like a cider. aroma of banana, clove, wheat esters, bubblegum, sourness, and has belgian characteristics? hmmmmmm Flavors are bready, yeasty with lots of spice and banana undertones. As my budy would say (McKinzzle69), it has a "hot garbage" quality. Body is medium with mild carbonation for this style (a good thing!) A pretty cool brew. pugsbarcom (10), Dallas, Texas, USA
