Bottle. I was taken by surprise by the extreme foaminess of this beer. One of the lighter looking dunkels. Yeasty aroma.Interesting wheat/citrus taste with a slightly sour finish. There’s also bananas and cloves in there. Smooth and full on the palate. Nice dunkel, could drink lots of it.

Slightly cloudy brown, big dense, finely bubbled head. Aroma of rye bread. Spicy, flowery flavor. Crisp, & mellow, with a rye flavor. Kinda watery.

Pours a hazy brown, with a billowing creamy beige head. Aroma of yeast, apple and banana. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Wheat and yeast are the dominant flavors, with more banana, clove and some spice. Short and crisp finish. One of the better beers of this style.

Enormous creamy head and light lacing. Spicy yeast aroma. Dirty orange brown. Light peppery spice bite builds on the tongue. Spice prescence builds nicely in the back of the mouth with each drink. Soft palate.

Reddish brown and appropriately cloudy. The healthy, small-bubbled carbonation throws up a dense and creamy putty head that any nitro-dispensed stout would envy. Soft impressions of banana bread in the nose, plus coconut, cinnamon, and vanilla. Flavors of yeast, rye or pumpernickel bread, and a fruity sourness reminiscent of lemons or sour cherries, plus faint spicy notes of clove and garam masala. There’s also a whipser of...cocoa puffs cereal? Pleasantly creamy palate. Finishes clean and tart, like berry skins. I can imagine this with weisswurst or spicy Thai food.

Bottle. Cloudy brownish yellow. White head. Malty/phenoloic/clove and banana aroma. Flavor is big and malty, and very rich. This is a malt lovers wheat, for sure.

Big yeast & fruit nose. Deep clear golden brown. Large puffy beige head. Dark fruity malts, toasted grains, cola, clovey graham crackers, delicate and delicious. Nice body, well balanced, highly drinkable. I love those Germans...
