Bottle. Cloudy orange colour with a solid white head. Muted spice and bubble gum aromas. Watery mouth feel with light yeast and banana flavours. A drab hefeweizen.

Tap at Laschet’s. a mediocre hefe. Tastes like a pretty run of the mill hefe in my book. It’s all there, but nothing special.

First taste 6/17/07 in a comparison with Tucher Hefe Weizen. Very similar. Almost no difference. Cloudy yellow-orange. Yeast, citrus, banana and spice aromas and flavors. Fairly sweet, with a smooth finish. Refreshing.

Pours a cloudy golden orange with a foamy lacing head. Aroma of lemon, banana, clove, cereal grains and wheat. Flavors of the same...fresh, crisp and refreshing. Solid Hefe.

16 oz, best before Aug 11, 2007. Golden peach and slightly cloudy with large creamy head that lasts forever and leaves sudsy lace. Aroma is spicy yeast, wheat and bubblegum. Flavor is dryish spicy yeast and slight banana-clove. Aftertaste is slightly more bitterish, and the classic spiced banana flavor seems understated as compared to some other Hefes, but this is still a nice one. Palate is light-medium, very refreshing and smooth.I think some others rating this beer got some mishandled, or old, bottles.

Yikes missed the boat on this one. Poured cloudy golden color. Aroma was way off cider in my hefe, where are the bananas. Flavor missed the boat as well caramel instead of bananas and cider here as well. Bad beer, and very bad within style.

Poured he usual for a hefe, cloudy/murky golden colored with a weak initial head. The aroma was apple cider, honey, light bread, no phenolic accents or bananas. The flavor also lacked bananas and nice phenolic character, had caramel and cider appear, pretty nasty and yucky. A bad example of a hefe, only to be redone in Germany.
