| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 20, 2006 How can you not like a good hefe? This one had the typical banana and vanilla flavors. Most of the flavor was muted as were the aromas. There is a distinct bite at the end of each sip that is unusual for the genre. I am a little surprised by the high scores other raters have given it. I put it in the middle of its genre. It is a style that I prefer, but this one, while good, does not stand out. bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA

Huge head and retention, with aromas of lemony citrus and some yeast. Definite citrus, lemon, and some clove flavors, with maybe a touch of banana. Has a crisp finish, and is great for summer! Goes very well with German food pairings, such as oxtail or schnitzel. Wonderfully recommended! Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA
