16 oz bottle poured a cloudy dirty gold with a large lasting white head. Aromas of banana, a hint of bubblegum, wheat and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, light banana, a hint of citrus and light spice with a crisp fruity finish.

On tap at the Maproom. Nothing was very memorable about this beer. I’ve been drinking a lot of german hefes lately and this one was somewhere in the middle in terms of flavor and quality. It has all the same characteristics just a little out of balance and muted. What a horrible review. kiss my ass.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with an average white head that lasted. Moderate sour citrus banana wheat aroma. Medium body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a sweet finish of moderate duration. I was given this beer by a freind and I would recommend it to a freind.

Cloudy honeycomb-like color. Nice head. Fruity and a bit of hops in the nose. Nice smooth medium bodies beer with a little banana and clove/corriander taste. Good wheat background. Good Hefe imho.

cloudy light orange with a large creamy white head. banana and clove aroma. sharp carbonated mouthfeel. more of a tangy citrus flavor rather than a creamy banana.

Draught at Beer on the Pier, Chicago. I’m a little surprised at how high this is rated based upon my experience. Perhaps what I had was the 2.7% ABV Leight Weiss. Some wheat, in the nose. No banana. Some definite tartness, which is odd for the style. Totally cloudy, light yellow. Looks more like a Belgian white. Thin, white head. God awful. Skunked or something. Needs big time work. Very light, which is good because otherwise might be too offensive. This must have been the Leight. I’m reseaching and move my rating if I determine it was the Leight.

Poured out yellow with a fairly large head. Smells fruity, slightly hoppy, and fairly good. Taste is similar, with the ability rising to slowly gulp this beer. A pretty good hefe, perhaps a little underrated, should become one of my hefes of choice. Nice brew.

Love it when Ernest had a hand-me-down beer waiting for me when I get home!
Beer is a medium, hazy peach-yellow color with a large, white, frothy, lasting head.
Aroma is malty with moderate notes of toated grain and cookie; hoppy with a moderate note of herb; yeasty with a light note of wet/cement and basement; moderate notes of banana, clove and a light note of wood.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly-to-moderately bitter with an average-length, lightly bitter, lightly acidic finish.
Sexy mouth-feel, especially for 4.9%. The body is medium, the texture is velvety and the carbonation is lively.
