| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 21, 2004 Hazy golden body with a nice, fluffy white head. Nice lacing. Banana, malt, and fruit flavors dominate the body of this beer while a nice, slightly tangy finish completes the picture. This is not a strongly flavored beer but it does have some very nice characteristics and subtleties. In other words, it ain’t complex but it sure tastes good to me. Overall, as wheat beers go, this one is pretty damned good! maltdog (515), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2004 Pale straw-colored, cloudy, a hurricane of bubbles balloon into a four-inch head. Mild aromas of yeast and horseblanket, tinged with banana, cantaloupe, and nutmeg/clove. Very, very soft banana and vanilla flavors, faint sourness. Initially creamy/fluffy palate ends with a watery, gatorade mouthfeel. Aftertaste is vaguely banana and coastal-community municipal water, salty and metallic. Overall boring, completely average in all respects; the alpine lacing was the only thing that stood out. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2004 Bottle pours a cloudy yellow, large fluffy white head, good lacing, with minor carbonation. Typical German Hefe aroma, banana, yeast, and cloves. Typical flavor too... however this one isnt as robust as some others I’ve had (Paulaner, Ayinger, Weihenstephaner), but it is still tasty. Decent body and mouthfeel. Perhaps a good entry beer for someone who hasn’t had a German Hefe as I find this one a bit lighter than the rest.

Aroma is pleasant banana and cloves. Flavor is light banana, wheat, and light spices. Not the greatest hefe, but good none the less. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2004 Typical Hefeweizen in appearance, big long lasting creamy head, hazy deep yellow color. Aroma has the banana, yeast and malt as it should. I suspect mine was past it's peak as Hefeweizens reach and pass their peak quickly. MikeF (528), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 1, 2004 Very large white fluffy head which stays for quite some time. Mirky yellow-orange in color. Smooth creamy flavor, but lacks a robust weiss component. Smooth finish. The fruity components are very subtle. JPDIPSO (4906), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2004 Cloudy light golden color with a big wispy white head. Nice malt/spice aroma. Intermittent clove, lemon, bananas and vanilla work the nose. Light feel. the light wheat and barley flavors of "grape nuts". Sweet wheat finish. The trouble with this one is finding a fresh bottle. firemedic713 (169), Palm Bay, Florida, USA
