Cloudy gold, creamy white head and very good lacing. Aroma of bananas and lactic acid. Taste of bananas and citrus. Palate is dry - paper napkin texture. Decent overall but not great.

500 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy orange with a large, frothy, nearly perpetual head. Aroma of bread, bubblegum, banana and clove. Taste is bread and citrus with very light spice. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Light grain note, with moderate aromas of flowers and lemon for the hops, barnyard and musty for the yeast, and hints of bubble gum (more so than banana) and clove. Head is huge, rocky/creamy, white, with good lacing and is fully lasting. Color is a hazy amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palalte is medium, watery and has a soft carbonation. I have to say this is one of my favorite German Hefeweizens. Great aromas, flavors, and all in perfect balance.

this is a great example of bavarian hefe beer, great aroma of banana and clove. It does have more carbonation that others.

Bottle split with the woody’s crew. Near clear yellow pour with decent white head. Nose is grapey, pepper, yeasty funk and cheese. Flavor is a little musty, light lemon bitterness, white wine, bready finish. Decently tasty and very dry.

Hazy yellow, big head response. Banana, grape, wheat nose, very pleasant. Taste has the effect of a white wine, and with the fruit of a Bavarian hefe. Aftertaste is that of a wine, very interesting!
