Bottle served in a weizen . Poured a hazy golden color with a huge foamy head and thick gobs of lace. Nose was cloves, wheat & bananna. Palate was moderate with enough carbonation to liven the mouth and tongue, but not so much as to be distracting. Flavor was cloves & bananna with a heavy wheat background. Nice tart, refreshing brew.

Pours a cloudy light gold with a nice sized white head. Aroma of citrus, banana, and wheat. Nice flavor, just sweet enough. Lively palate.

(Bottle) Pours hazy pale golden with a foamy white head. The aroma is rather typical for a German wheat beer with strong notes of spicy clove and medium tones of sweet banana and wheat. Some smoky incense and floral notes are also present. Light tropical and citric hints of tangerines, sweet oranges, peach, mango and strawberries. Some yeast and toasted malt. The flavour is a bit more simplistic with wheat, banana, clove, toasted malt and mild hints of citrus. The mouthfeel is creamy and soft with a small bubbly carbonation. Aftertaste of salt, wheat and mild citrus fruits. Tiny hop bitter finish. Medium bodied. Lovely aroma and palate. Mediocre flavour.

Bottle purchased at Willow Bend Liqours (Lutz, FL) pours a cloudy, honey lemon yellow color with a billowing tower of a foamy white head. Vibrant aroma of wheat, lemon, banana, and clove. Similar flavor, but a slightly sour & bitter aftertaste. Overall a decent Hefeweissbier.

6/2008...about 6 months of age on this beer....Foam is almost white...at least the closest to white that I’ve seen in a beer head....a slight cloudiness--and light copper...smells of wheat, yet earthy + sweet clove--smells a bit sour -- initial burst of sweet...very very quick, then sour....mid-palate, the usual wheat and clove flavors...this whole thing has essences of a Flemish sour...it has a creaminess to it as it warms up in my glass...I would like to try this again when its fresh

Subtle citrus aroma. Easily attains a nice fluffy white head as you pour which results in decent lacing. Colour is a cloudy gold. Taste is citrus with little hop character and quick finish. Up there with most other good German hefes.
