A great one. This is in the top class of beers I ever had. Vanilia in the flavor smooth and semi sweet. This one also has very strong wheat charteristics. It is slightly thicker than some other but is refreshijng and easy to drink. Looks and smells great.

Classic banana/clove aroma. Possibly the most beautiful hefe I have ever seen. Cloudy golden/copper colored. Huge white rocky head. Good head retention. Bubbles line the glass all over. Tastes right: banana/clove first, then a little wheat, then a little citrus. I didn't taste as nearly as much bubble gum in this that I have tasted in others. This is possibly the best Hefe I've ever had out of a bottle. Light and refreshing as can be. Maybe I got one of the fresh bottles. The only way to get a better Hefe I think is to get some right out of the fermenter. I really don't see why this beer got lower ratings before; it has everything a Hefeweizen should have and nothing it shouldn't. I've had some bad ones before but this is not one of them. One look at this beer and you know it is ALIVE.

this is a great example of bavarian hefe beer, great aroma of banana and clove. It does have more carbonation that others.

My favorite Greman wheat beer! Pours with a huge, creamy head. Light cloudy wheat color, with a wonderful aroma. Scents of banana, clove, wheat, and yeast. Flavors follow suit. Outstanding!

"Sampled" on draft at Resis Bierstube (Chicago) in extensive German weiss tasting. Julius Echter emerged the CLEAR #1 !! Our sampling included: Weihenstephaner HW & Kristall, Ayinger Ur Weise & BrauWeise, Fransizkaner, Maisels Weisse, Konig, Schneider, & Hacker-Pschorr HW. To emerge the number one HW among this competition is awesome achievement! Great Lemon, fruity flavor. ALL 5 tasters rated it number one! May not be as good in bottle, but draft is out of this world !

Poured a lovely golden colour, with an enormous white, long lasting head. Aroma is cloves and bubblegum. Taste is a great wheat then citrus combination with some banana in there as well. Crisp and refreshing and very drinkable. Excellent mouthfeel, smooth with slight fizz on the tongue. This has become an instant favourite, I urgently need to try the draught version!

Good Bavarian (?) style wheat, more bite than, say, Weinheinstephaner (sp). If you are usually in the habit of putting a lemon in a wheat beer, try this one without.
