On tap sample at Jupiter: Dull yellow and a bit cloudy, without head, standard carbonation. Promising hop aroma (spruce) but flavor is not so much well-rounded as unfocused and flat.

On tap at bears lair...a nice amber color on this one with some solid head...uhh flavor is metalic, not enough hoppieness for me either, one of the weaker members of the style i have ever had.

On tap @ Bistro 8th Annual DIPA Fest poured a clear copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, light pine and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a dry fin ish. Flavors of grapefruit rind, orange, light pine and a hint of earthiness with a lingering bitter finish.

Tap @ Bistro’s 8th Annual IIPA Fest. The beer poured a hazed amber color with an off-white head. The aroma while kind of complex was not typical of an IIPA or at least the west coast style. Floral, spice, earth, and even hints of smoke ride on top of the caramel base. Sweet caramel flavor with floral and spicy hop notes. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Not my style.

Draft at the Bistro’s 8th DIPA Fest; nose of floral hops and light caramel sweetness; lightly hazed amber with a small straw head; flavor of hop bitterness and caramel.
