Elwood (665), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Nov 9, 2009 Serving: 12 oz. bottle.
Appearance: Clear amber color with a small, off-white head. Poor head retention.
Aroma: Caramel, butterscotch, and apple notes.
Flavor: Follows the nose with caramel, some butter notes and apple. Clearly some brewing errors here.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a short finish.
Overall: Pitiful. Not recommended. Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Oct 14, 2009 Pours amber with a tan head. Smells of caramel, diacetyl, some fruity hints. Tastes fruity and buttery with some vegetal notes. matthasson (59), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 24, 2009 I couldnt even finish the bottle. All I could taste was a gross butterscotch flavor. It also smelled sort of like rotten apples. ben4321 (957), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 24, 2009 Overall Impression:
Another one of the beers from Dundee that was pretty boring, nothing memorable here, just a semi-decent beer. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA Mar 31, 2009 Bottle. Pours a amber color with a decent head that fades. Taste is of caramel, malt and some hops. Fairly sweet with some bitterness. Similar aroma. A very nice beer, that is, satisfying, easy to drink and rather enjoyable. MrBunn (1521), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 8, 2009 Bottle. Pours a copper with a finger or so of dense head and aromas of caramel and apple juice. Flavor is a watery mix of caramel and apple juice concentrate. Life is too short to drink beer like this. dwaggs2 (532), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Mar 1, 2009 Amber color no head. Caramel and malt aroma. Flavor is weaker, watery taste. Nothing special, decent cheap beer. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Jan 30, 2009 Light amber in color. Slight caramel aroma with a light hop taste. Thin body. Weak in the taste.
