| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2007 Bottle. Crisp, light amber color. This bottle was slightly skunky, which started to overpower the sweet malty smell. Very tart! Not my favorite, but it was decent - would be willing to give it another chance, as I suspect that it wouldn’t be awful if it weren’t skunked. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 20, 2007 Wow this actually pours with a thick creamy head, the exact opposite of their Honey Brown. But that was the end of that. Now on to slamming. TO claim that you use 3 types of hops to make a beer is great but if you cnat tell that you have used said hops is bad and really does not make much sense, then again they dont really say how much of the 3 hops they use, based on the taste not much. The dominate flavor here is the sticky sweet crystal malts. It boils down to this being a very average amber ale, er lager, er whatever. mrant (330), New York, USA

Taste is caramel malts with a faint hops. Not too dry on the finish. Overall a good beer I would drink again and again. bbbrew (183), Washington DC, USA

I would drink this again. A little bit sweet. Drank this against two german lagers and it was the best. wxman (588), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Pours a dark golden more than an amber. Big off-white head that seems to stick around. Mild aroma of sweet malt and spicy hops. Crisp, lightly sweet maltiness in the taste along with some hop flower bitterness. Run of the mill regional making the transition to psuedo-micro. Actually, this beer tastes like a lower ABV version of the pale bock they offer.
