| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, golden-mahogany body with a small, fizzy, white head.
Smell: Toasty malts with a slight hint of toasted almond slivers. Very soft floral notes.
Taste: Toasty malts, a slight nuttiness, and a medium dark caramel sweetness. Faintest hint of floral and citrus. Rather subdued hop bitterness. Crisp, dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium, fizzy carbonation.
Drinkability: A thin, simply dark lager that’s only real goal is to be crisp and refreshing. I’m fine with that. bhensonb (4339), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 11, 2008 Bottle from Sondra. Amber color with a frothy beige head. Malty aroma. A bit watery with moderate carbonation. Flavor is malty, and there’s some bitter. It’s really rather drinkable, considering it’s bottom fermented. AB take note. A lager can have flavor, even if it’s made in America. jbuzz (661), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/20 | Jun 20, 2008 a good beer for this style. above average...but not much. the head fades too quickly but theres something both great and kinda strange about the aroma it tastes like amberbock with a little more complexity. try it if you like this style. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Bronze copper body with constant effervescence in a lager glass--thick, half-inch head appears tasty... medium-bodied malts with a friendly, yeasty accent--appealing--and yet a hint of corn also... nondescript, thin bodied palate--settles on the tongue, but is fleeting like iced tea...tin, metallic malts--a Natural Light tinge with a little more body.. warms as the glass continues... a bit sweet with a somewhat grainy, yeasty finish...again, nondescript--serviceable and probably a safe companion to pizza or nachoes... rampmaster (322), Alden, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2008 Presentation: Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. It has a deep amber color with excellent clarity. The head is full and fluffy with a creamy off white color. It hangs on for a short time and recedes to a thin covering. On the way down the glass it leaves behind some nice lacing. The aroma is light and clean. There is a light malt presence with soft aromatic hops in the nose. Nothing out of this world but it is fresh, crisp and clean. There is a pleasant sweet malt base with a mild hop presence within a medium body that has a refreshing texture and clean finish. Simple and good but great. It comes with a modest price tag that will bring me back for more.
