ChainGangGuy (1444), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jul 16, 2008 Appearance: Pours an orangey-copper body with a small, white head.
Smell: Plain pale malts with a slight citrus fruitinss.
Taste: Pale malts, hint of nut, and with a fairly light sweetness. A jigger full of ruby red grapefruit juice. A tad watery midway. Light hop bitterness. A bit more fruit and then you’re rewarded with a dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation, somewhat fizzy.
Drinkability: Not so great, really, but it is right cheap, I’ll give it that much. cdub939 (7), Florida, USA does not count Jul 16, 2008 Had this with my Dad on my 23rd Birthday. Overall was not that impressed had a ruff after taste was one of the better JW Dundees but still would grab a Rolling Rock over this one!
The Honey lager was quite decent though I would drink that one again! Trooper11 (429), Suffolk, Virginia, USA Jul 15, 2008 Clear golden brew, thick foamy white head. Aroma is grassy corn syrup, nothing unique. Bitter, astringent malty taste. After taste is like licking a copper penny. unclemike (245), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Jul 15, 2008 From a 12-oz. bottle poured a mildly hazy amber-copper body with a nice little fluffy whitish head. Super lacing! Nose of sweet hops and grains. Taste of metal and sweet sticky hops. Nice smooth, rounded mouth feel. Mild hoppiness. Good sessionable beer. Nothing spectacular, but quite drinkable jbuzz (406), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 7, 2008 From a JW Dundees Sampler Case.
