12 ounce bottle- poured out a deep, clear, amber color like tea. The head was marginally thick, but very long lasting, wheat colored. Aroma was hard to place, smoke, caramel, toffee? Taste was interesting, strong, bitter coffee with a real bite at the end. Palate was very smooth. Not bad, but not memorable, either.

Aug 17, 2008 Dark amber with a thick tan head. Spicy aroma of maple and cinnamon. A little too zesty for the summer but would make a good fall/winter beer which is when it was probably released.

Jul 9, 2008 deep ruby pour with a cream ring. rich malts and brown sugar on the nose. thicker than i was expecting and the cinnamon really shines through. easy finish that is nice and spicy.

Jul 6, 2008 Whoa Nelly let me tell ya bout tis beer, which surpirsed me by about 5 tenths of a point. The label is great. The pour is medium brown with a 2-finger off-white head. The aroma is caramel malt, brown sugar, maple syrup, oats, cinnamon. smooth and crisp and rather complex palate. This one is a keeper

Jun 12, 2008 I agree with BMan113VR Great deal at $5 a sixer... Color is a deep amber with a thin off white head. The aromas are old shoes and off wood. The flavor is not quite right they do not meld together very well. Very unbalanced but still a good deal. Cheers
