GMUcrew7 (180), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Feb 4, 2008 Pours dark golden color with pale white head. Aroma is mainly malt, not much to it. Flavor is much like a generic American lager with a touch of honey. Priced like a Bud or MGD, but tastes a little better.
mcjay (24), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA Sep 5, 2008 Golden color with a thin white head. Light hoppy aroma. Sweet malty taste with a generous honey flavor. A great brew but after a couple it’s almost a little too sweet. ewestern (86), Ohio, USA Sep 5, 2008 Clear golden color with a thin white head. Hint of honey in the aroma with sweet malts mixed in. Sweet honey flavor was prevalent. Seemed like there was some carbonation up front as well. biggmike (400), Gulfport, Mississippi, USA Sep 3, 2008 Poured an attractive deep golden color with nice head that hung around a little while. Actually the best feature of this beer was probably the appearance. It is really the only thing that was above average. Nothing offensive about it and its drinkable, just nothing remarkable either. mountainforest (107), Edinburgh, Scotland Sep 1, 2008 An American ale, but good. A bit sweet, but more complex than sugar water. Not too light on the tongue. Subtle afternotes of hops. No head, but sufficiently carbonated. Need a more original name. Will buy again. Amazingly, it was the cheapest set of bottles at Wal-Mart (not including Bud, Miller). 2004 winner on label - needs to be updated. Imagine if Newcastle Brown ale was blended with a lager. Average quality. DerBiermeister (374), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Sep 1, 2008 Aroma you ask me? Slightly skunky. Appearance you ask me? Brownish-golden, but thinish with little head. Its flavor is like water and its palate pretty one-dimensional. Its palate is smooth as water. Overall impression is negligible.
