Apr 25, 2008 275ml bottle from Shropshire. Vintage 1989. Slight hiss of carbonation. Pours a clear glowing toffee colour. Cardboard nose from the poor abused hops, but the malt is fine, fragrant, and toffee flavoured. A reasonably firm mouthfeel. The palate is clean and pleasant. Some Indian tea in the finish, and some tobacco in the middle. This is an enjoyable and pleasant experience. Very good.
