Foggy golden body with a creamy, slow settling white head. Metallic, tart malt flavour. Doctors surgery aroma. Retched dirty sock after taste.

Jul 25, 2005 Cask at Phoenix, Canterbury. Advertised as a pale ale, but I am not so sure. Amber in colour with some hops on nose, creamyish in mouth with a slightly tangy hop finish. Sounds like I had a better pint of this than Dan. Ok but unremarkable

Jul 12, 2005 Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Golden colouring, but this is definitely trying to be closer to our Bitter classification. Awful. Like warm Lager. Sweet, malty, sickly notes. Elements of wheat too, but not good. Didn’t know what to make of this, or what to do with it. So I left it.
