Bottle. Medium high and lasting creamy off-white head. Hazy ruby body. Plum apple pear aroma. Flavor dominated by hops bitterness. Otherwise roasted malt with plums raisin apple and pear. Relatively strong carbonated and a long bitter sweet aftertaste.

Dark brown with plum colored highlights. No head to be found. Aroma of dark fruit kicks you in the face. Plum, raisin. Flavor is the same with some sugar. No carbonation in the mouth. Plenty of alcohol warming but not a lot in the flavor. Dark fruit with more dark fruit.

Taste 7/8 Bottle (Date?) Looks: Black cherry body with a nice .5 inch cream head. Aroma: Sweet malty roasted brown. Taste: Roast/Toast. Medium body. alcohol presence adds to the flavor instead of diminishing. Nice yeast sourness and spice bite.

Bottle. Poured a nut brown with a small head. Big English malt character aroma. Nice flavor with sherry and toffee, but finishes watery for the style.

A dark brown appearance with some ruby hints. The aroma is quite nice with some chocolate, cherries, caramel, toffee, and molasses. The flavor is rather malty with some dark fruit, toffee, chocolate, caramel and a slight nutty presence too. The palate is a bit thin considering the complexitiy but overall this is a good beer.
