Cask at The Market Porter, Borough, 17/12/07. Dark amber colour. Aroma and flavour of fresh plums (not plum pudding in fact). Decent finish. A nice beer if you like them fruity!

Cask handpull at Thomas Ingoldsby, JDW, Canterbury. Dark copper with thin off white head. Fruits are a bit sour which balances the sweetish fruits, some caramel. Quite a bit of green apple. Fine but not really very plummy

Cask (handpump) at Wetherspoons, Victoria Station. A gingery orange coloured beer with no head to speak of. Described as a fruit beer, but there’s not much apparent in the aroma. There is noticeable, slightly sharp fruit on the palate, but its more like cherries than plums. Rather thin mouthfeel. Starts out sweet, then enters a dry (and drying phase). Falls away on the finish. Not unpleasant, but its all a bit understated.

Cask Conditioned at The Bell, Banbury. Red amber beer with medium head. A spicy, fruity beer, thick and sweetly glutinous. Some warming alcohol, but more a spiced beer than a true winter warmer.
