Clear golden coloured slightly pale and hoppy. Some wheat flavour. Crisp bitter lasting finish. Gazza (720), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Apr 5, 2004 One of the best beers Lees have made in a long time, vaguely in the style of a German Kristal. Produced to raise funds to restore a classic deltawing bomber built in Manchester this is a pale beer with the typical Lees nose but with added wheatiness. A strongly flavoured palate with wheat, grain, bitterness and “Lees-ness” before the complex and very moreish finish. Superb and different, very good for a British wheat beer.
