daknole (2800), Plantation, Florida, USA May 27, 2009 Bottle. Light straw color. Aroma of apples. Flavor is sweet and guess what, tastes like apples!! Pretty ok I suppose. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Mar 30, 2009 Pretty good cider. Light body. Apples in the aroma and taste. Refreshing finish. dwaggs2 (530), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Mar 1, 2009 For a cider not bad. Very sweet and apple aroma. Taste is very sweet malts and apple. Its a cider what can you really say? Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Nov 20, 2008 Clear very pale straw pour with no head but a champagne effervescence. Sweet apple aroma. Sweet cider flavor. Very bubbly. Enjoyable and not all that expensive. pintocb (505), Darsville, Georgia, USA Sep 22, 2008 Golden. The nose is sour and appley. The flavor is a bit too sweet for my taste, and the finish is too still. I like a drier, more carbonated cider. shalloWMeans (160), Independence, Kentucky, USA Sep 1, 2008 This has long been my absolute favorite cider, and one I recommend every time. Unfortunately, it’s pretty hard to find in this area. K Cider is a beautiful, gleaming gold, effervescent and bright colour. The smell is dry, slightly sour and vinegary, with crisp, overripe apples and a bit of apricot, as well as a sharp citrussy lemon aroma. As the quote on the bottle states, "K" is "refreshingly different." The sourish dry notes tickle the tongue and leave a crisp, puckering green apple finish. Qualities similar to a brut champagne give this cider a fun, bubbly mouthfeel, all the while hinting at notes of bitter citrus fruit, pears, and even sour grapes. K really is the "ultimate in quality", and at 6.9% abv, is not just tasty, but packs a little strength as well. Deliciously tart and always fun.
Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jul 26, 2008 Very nice. Golden yellow pour. No head. Served in a champagne flute. This brings out the bubbles coming up from the bottom. Nice aroma and taste of apples. It could stand to be a little drier and less sweet. xCENOTAPHx (16), Grandview, Texas, USA Jun 6, 2008 Pours honey yellow with almost no head. You probably couldn’t force a head out of it if you tried. Nice taste of apples with a nice moderately dry finish like you would find in a champagne. Aftertaste is a little unsettling. Still, this is dangerously drinkable, sort of liek a wine cooler.
