Bottle: Clear with light legs. The nose is nutty with a light ricey note and some fruity characteristics. Light fruity flavor, mellow impact and a nice clean body, very little koji and a strawberry and bread flavor that blends nicely. Umami in the clean fruity finish with a ripe pear and apple note. Very clean and fresh tasting sake for an import. I’m impressed. A little minerally and a clean melon taste in the tail. Yum!
