Near black colored with red hints, little light brown head. Nice roasted aroma with chocolate and sweet caramel, also some convenient burnt tone. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar with roastiness even more dominating, chocolate and mild burnt note also here. Smooth palate, excellent dunkel.

Deep ruby body with a small delicious lacing tan head. Roasted malt, fine caramel, tobacco and dark chocolate in the nose with sourish yeast, light dried fruits perfume. Medium bodied beer with raisins, caramel and some vanilla, roasted malt, toasty caramel, cocoa. Fine roasted grains in the aftertaste..

Bottle:Clear, deep amber coloured with some ruby spots; quite dry and complex nose: dried fruits, roasted malt and some caramel; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, but not watery at all; dry lingering roasty-bitter and fruity finish. Tastes like a good bottom-fermented Porter! An unexpected gem from a very mediocre brewery.........

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a thick and dense beige foamy head. Slightly sweet and strong roast-malty aroma, also a bit Porter-like burnt elements with caramel cacao and subtle notes of dried fruits. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Robust roast-malty base with caramel, traces of chocolate and leather; quite dry mouthfeel; burnt bitter malty finish with a good length. By far the best brew from Kaiserdom I had so far; almost like a diluted Baltic Porter. 09.IX.09

0.5L bottle, small beige head that dissapears very quickly, dark brown but not opaque with a touch of reddish orangey taint. Herbal hoppy aroma with some lightly roasted malt, flavours of hay, sweetish bread and lightly roasted coffee, medium sourish and bitter roasted aftertaste. Not bad, but not really too complex.

500 ml bottle. Dark brown body, close to back with a dense beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel and something between liquorices and chocolate. Flavor is sweetbitter, light roasted malt, chocolate and sweet liquorices with some dark fruit. Rather light, but tasty and balanced. Enjoyed this one.
