pivnizub (3793), Porúří, Germany Jan 20, 2007 Bottle: Lively carbonation, huge fluffy head, that slowly diminishes; deep amber coloured; fruity (cloves&bananas), a bit vinous nose with a faint, but distinctive touch of toasted malt; sweetish (malty) flavour supported by a light acidity, fizzy MF; malty, fruity finish with some cellary notes and a sourish, yeasty touch in the aftertaste. Unusual, but refreshing....... MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Sep 5, 2006 (bottle) Hazy, murky brown colour with a huge frothy beige head. Quite dense ashy and tart yeasty aroma of toasted malt with dried fruits (prunes). Light sweet flavour, flat toast-malty and yeasty taste, also slightly fruity with a very fizzy mouthfeel; dry, malty, fizzy and slightly fruity finish. Not very complex nor balanced.
