| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 1, 2009 (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a steady and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet malty aroma with traces of cara-malt, biscuits and shy notes of herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Plain (cara-)malty taste with a whiff of biscuits and herbal notes. Bitter-sweet cara-malty finish. Boring Märzen (31.III.09). JorisPPattyn (5183), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 14, 2007 Metallic-golden beer with a just yellowish tinted, cohesive head. Extremely grassy nose, very fresh, slightly leaning towards hay and warm, pale malts. Dry, very dry hayish taste, with a retronasal feeling of toasted malts, but fading away quite quickly. Better than average, however; Medium bodied at best, slight slickness. Pity about the fast fading taste. Initial impression is quite good, better than usual for this brewery. Limpid yellow color, medium bubbly. Simple and altogether little long-lasting aspect. Alcoholic and lean scent, light dry grassy and straw notes. Lightly pungent taste, watery and strong. Determined bitter; extended and overbearing alcohol. Unpleasant and top heavy final. RichardGretton (3152), Leicestershire, England
