Jul 16, 2009 Pretty malty aroma. Flavor has some dryness, but oddly, a slight hint of wheat. The finish is a bit dry, a bit funky. Not too good.

Dec 25, 2008 Clear yellow colour with small diminished head. Light malty aroma with some sweetness there as well. Quite watery in the finish, low carbonation.

Sep 5, 2008 330ml can as Kraljevsko Bavarsko Pivo (5.0% ABV). Film-type surface over a yellow-gold body. Pale malt in aroma. Mild malty flavour with hints of dry, hop bitterness to the short ending. Fizzy (Dubrovnik, 24.08.2008).

Aug 2, 2008 Bottled, the brewed under licence Croatian version. Distinctly lemony, musty hops on snout with a hint of ganja leafiness. Brazenly citrussy for a sensible Germanic pils, to the same extent as a watery pasteurised English GA (Young’s Kew?). Refreshingly fruity pils/pale lager driven by the hops and not cereally malts and adjuncts for a change. Mandarin/satsuma hints, and a nibble of quality here.
